NASFUND working closely with Employers
Educating employer representatives of superannuation processes is one of the main focusses of the National Superannuation Fund Limited (NASFUND).
The objective of having an updated database and to allow for smooth flow of registration and contribution processes, payroll and human resource officers are visited by the Nasfund team on a monthly basis.
This month, the Lae branch visited the Chemcare Group limited and Guard Dog security services to assist with challenges that were contributing to the slow turnaround times of remitting contributions and providing clean schedules.
Branch officer in charge, Mr. Steven Gerega said that the team’s objective is to identify employers who have been facing difficult in remitting contributions on time and it was important to visit companies physically to understand their financial delegations.
He said that outcome of the visit has seen a great improvement from the employers and it has established a good relationship for everyone to communicate effectively and importantly to ensure their employees accounts were updated on time and efficiently.
He said that the Lae branch was looking forward to continue the same approach to all its contributing employers in the province. .
A similar employer luncheon was also conducted by the Port Moresby employers services team last week Friday.
